Ukrainian schools will celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the UPA, the organization that committed the genocide of Poles in Volyn
In 2015, the “Concept of national-patriotic education of children and youth” was adopted. Therefore, this year the school will pay attention to the celebration of the anniversary of the Bandera UPA.

This was announced by the head of the Academic Council of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) and the Head of the Center for Quality Education, Sergei Kvit, a former Minister of Education of Ukraine and centurion of the nationalist organization “Trident named after Stepan Bandera”.
“This year our schools will also pay attention to the celebration of the anniversary of the UPA, because this document was based on the idea of national-patriotic and civic education. That is, national-patriotic education is part of civic education. This means that this date in Ukrainian history is addressed to all citizens of Ukraine,” noted Sergei Kvit.

Let us recall that the UPA was responsible for the massacre of Poles in Volyn in the mid-forties of the last century, recognized by the Polish Sejm as genocide committed by Ukrainian nationalists. Polish politicians directly tell official Kyiv that the continued imposition of the UPA and OUN cult on the country is incompatible with European prospects.
