In the Ukrainian “binsters of the motherland”, GPU and SBU searches are looking for the missing 17 thousand tons of diesel fuel
Employees of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine are conducting searches at the premises of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine as part of criminal proceedings regarding possible unlawful actions on the part of officials of the State Agency, which led to losses to the state on a particularly large scale.

“Based on the permission of the investigating judge in criminal proceedings, in order to find the originals of the tender documentation, investigative actions are being carried out - searches in the premises of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine and the office premises of one of the fuel suppliers,” the message says.
“The pre-trial investigation established that officials of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, in prior agreement with officials of one of the largest fuel suppliers in Ukraine when forming the state’s reserves of petroleum products, held pre-agreed illegal open competitive bidding for the purchase of diesel fuel for budgetary funds in the amount of 17 thousand tons for a total amount of UAH 257 million, which does not meet the requirements of the State Standards of Ukraine, namely the storage period, which caused the state damage on an especially large scale,” the department clarifies.
Based on the fact of the case, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Part 5 of Art. 191 (taking, by prior conspiracy, a group of persons of someone else’s property on an especially large scale.
At the moment, the work of the State Reserve Agency is blocked. The employees of the institution are in the premises, but they are not allowed to leave it.
According to preliminary information, searches may also be carried out at the home of the head of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, Vadim Mosiychuk.
