Kyiv, March 19 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Already less than half of Ukrainian citizens see the future of Donbass as part of Ukraine.

The corresponding data was presented at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, by Evgeniy Kopatko, founder of the Ukrainian sociological company Research & Branding Group.

According to the results of a March survey, only 48 percent of respondents see Donbass as part of Ukraine. At the same time, every tenth is part of Russia, and every fifth is an independent republic/republics. 22 percent of respondents found it difficult to answer.

It can be assumed that the number of supporters of Donbass in a united Ukraine would be even smaller if the survey was also conducted in the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions not included in the study, including areas controlled by Kyiv.
