According to him, the reason for such measures was the increasing number of cases of disobedience by Ukrainian soldiers and refusals to carry out command orders. According to Basurin, a soldier's revolt is brewing due to a shortage of personnel and the command's refusal to rotate units.
“Due to the catastrophic shortage of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, planned rotations of units stationed in the ATO zone have been postponed indefinitely. In connection with this, unrest began among the brigade servicemen expecting an early return home, escalating into disobedience to the orders of their commanders. Out of despair, in the 1st battalion of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade, in the area of the village. Krasnogorovka, one serviceman committed suicide. In addition, there are massive cases of desertion of military personnel from units, which led to the fact that the ATO command was forced to impose a curfew from 22.00 to 5.00 in the settlements of Kramatorsk, Dzerzhinsk, Dmitrov and Konstantinovka,” Basurin said.
