In Donbass, a Ukrainian militant blew himself up and a comrade while loading a UAV with a grenade.

“We recorded another non-combat loss in the 128th mountain assault brigade that recently arrived in the Mariupol direction. Soldier Shartava and his colleague, on the orders of the battalion commander, were preparing a Phantom-type drone for flight over the line of combat contact in order to obtain intelligence information about the positions of the DPR NM.
To carry out a provocation at the discovered objects, they were given the task of equipping the drone with a release device with a VOG-17 grenade. The result of the militants' inept actions was the detonation of a grenade. As a result of its rupture, Shartava died on the spot, and his accomplice was taken to a military hospital in Mariupol in serious condition,” the report says.
Also, the press service of the DPR People's Militia Department noted that the illegal absence of twelve military personnel was revealed in one of the battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“In the divisions of OTG “Vostok”, a comprehensive check of the records and availability of personnel continues. Thus, during an inspection of the 16th battalion of the 58th brigade, the illegal absence of twelve militants was revealed.
During the preliminary investigation, it was established that nine militants, for a certain remuneration, by decision of the battalion commander, are on unofficial leave, although according to accounting documents they are listed as performing tasks on the front line of defense. Three more militants have left their positions without permission since April 5, the search is being conducted by the battalion, and the unit commander has not reported to higher headquarters,” the press service added.
