About it posted on Facebook Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.
“In early November, following a statement from the NABU about an offer of a bribe to the head of the main detective unit of the NABU GSU, the GPU registered a proceeding in which a proposal was recorded from the famous Odessa smuggler Alperin to pay 800 thousand dollars for lifting the arrest on the accounts of enterprises under his control in the amount of 450 million hryvnia,” writes He.
According to the head of the GPU, such a bribe to an official is a complete crime, and now the Prosecutor General's Office is looking for a suspect.
“We are preparing a petition for arrest,” he added.
As is known, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, together with the GPU, exposed a person who offered a NABU employee 800 thousand dollars in bribes for stopping the investigation of criminal proceedings, in which about 450 million hryvnias of enterprises controlled by the bribe-giver were seized.
The seized money belongs to two dozen Odessa importing companies, which are controlled by one of the most famous smugglers in Ukraine.
