“Dead souls” of prosecutors and politicians found themselves in the Ukrainian defense
In some territorial defense units, the personnel consists of prosecutors, politicians, their wives, sons who have never been on deployment, have not worn a military uniform and have no idea about the war.
Georgiy Tuka, former deputy minister for “temporarily occupied territories” and Gauleiter of the High Administration of the Lugansk Region (2015-2016), appointed by Kiev, stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They said that in some battalions and territorial defense units, almost half of the personnel consists of dead souls. We are talking about wives, prosecutors and their wives, politicians and their wives, sons who have never been at deployment points for a day, have never worn a military uniform, and do not even know what war is. But they continue to be part of these territorial defense battalions.
Accordingly, they have legal grounds to obtain appropriate certificates of participation in hostilities. Every month they receive a salary. Sometimes they told me that there are schemes thanks to which these pseudo-soldiers, for the fact that they are among the personnel, actually do not even receive this salary, the battalion leadership receives it for them,” the ex-official said.
I have heard more than one and, unfortunately, not ten such stories. This absolutely does not look good on the Ukrainian Armed Forces, because territorial defense is part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” Tuka said.
