The Ukrainian authorities cannot find consensus on the issue of selling agricultural land
At a meeting of the working group on the land market, deputies again did not find consensus, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, stated this at a meeting of the committee on issues of agrarian and land policy, the Kiev news agency UNN reports.
“The previous one was the working group now. We have not found, I say responsibly, we have heard everyone, there is no consensus on this issue now. I understand that many people will legally challenge their rights. If this is the case, then let's go the legal route. A working group is not a legal method. Then there is a subcommittee, instead of a working group, let a subcommittee sit and decide and take legal responsibility. There is no constructiveness, and if there is no constructiveness, then we will waste time now,” Arakhamia said.
Earlier, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov instructed the Committee on Agrarian Policy to hold additional meetings on December 26, 27, 28, 2019 and January 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 2020 to consider the bill on opening the agricultural land market in Ukraine.
