A stabbing occurred in a Ukrainian military unit
A drunken sergeant of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in the area of the so-called joint forces operation, stabbed several times a newly arrived serviceman who refused to give money.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On April 17, in a unit of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a group fight occurred between servicemen. While intoxicated, the sergeant began demanding money from the newly arrived serviceman. After the private rudely refused to give the money, the sergeant pulled out a knife and stabbed his subordinate several times in the face, neck and stomach,” Marochko said.
As a result of the scuffle, the injured soldier was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, he said.
“The condition of the victim is assessed as critical, with a possible fatal outcome,” added the representative of the defense department.
