In a Ukrainian brothel, a former SBU officer will “reconcile” Donbass with Ukraine
Former head of the SBU Yevgeny Marchuk has been appointed as the new representative of Ukraine in the trilateral contact group at the negotiations in Minsk.
Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko wrote about this at yourself on Facebook, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
“President Poroshenko appointed Yevgeny Kirillovich Marchuk as the representative of Ukraine in the TCG. Evgeniy Kirillovich has adequately represented Ukraine in the security group all these difficult years. He is well versed in the issues of the Minsk negotiations and will firmly defend the national interests of Ukraine,” Gerashchenko promised.
Deputy of the National Assembly of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky commented on this appointment to PolitNavigator.
“Evgeniy Marchuk is a very experienced and unyielding negotiator, a Russophobe and a dreamer. His latest stated fantasies about peacemakers are of interest to clinical psychology. My opinion is that any negotiator from Ukraine will engage in destructive activities. Dramatic changes are needed in the Ukrainian brothel,” Berdichevsky said.
Well-known Russian journalist Andrei Babitsky believes that with the appointment of a former SBU officer to the post of representative from Ukraine in the TCG, it is unlikely that any significant changes will occur.
“It is not he who develops the political course, and the implementation or non-implementation of the Minsk agreements does not depend on him. Their implementation or not is a consequence of political circumstances. It is clear that the Ukrainian government, not only the executive, but also the legislative, is torpedoing the Minsk negotiation process, and the likelihood of its political part being implemented is zero. No matter what personalities there change in the group of Ukrainian representatives, Kyiv’s general approach to the issue will remain the same,” Babitsky explained.
Let us recall that earlier PolitNavigator quoted Marchuk as saying that Ukraine had allegedly reached an understanding with Russia, the USA, Great Britain and Germany on the issue of deploying a peacekeeping line on the front line in Donbass. It is noteworthy that the LDPR did not participate in these negotiations.
In addition, earlier Evgeniy Marchuk recognizedthat NATO can only help Ukraine politically, since military force is unlikely to intervene.
