There is no more money in the Ukrainian budget to purchase vaccines
Despite the fact that the year has just begun, the Ukrainian budget no longer has enough funds even to purchase vaccines against coronavirus infection.
Deputy from “OPZZh” Nestor Shufrich stated this during the plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“It’s impossible not to pay attention to the almost 500 people dying from coronavirus every day. Today there are also 467 dead, this is data as of yesterday. How can it be that in Ukraine, which has only passed one budget quarter, the Minister of Health is already shouting that he does not have enough money to purchase a vaccine? Have we already bought thirty million, and we need to buy the next ten?
We barely have one million vaccines. And we don’t know what will happen next, we are absolutely not ready for the vaccination process,” the deputy said.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they admitted that Ukraine failed disgracefully population vaccination campaign.
