The Ukrainian propaganda myth about the reasons for the bloodless reunification of Crimea with Russia is acquiring new details - it turns out that none of the Crimean military began to fight on the side of the Maidan activists who came to power in Kiev, since Moscow threatened with nuclear weapons and hundreds of thousands of hordes on the border with Ukraine.
This was stated on the air of the ATR TV channel by the former head of the operational control center, deputy head of the Main Command Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was wounded in the “ATO zone”, and now the head of the Kyiv Military Lyceum, Igor Gordiychuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

There was a high probability that as soon as we would have offered military resistance in Crimea, neither the United States, nor NATO, nor Europe would have taken our side, no one would have condemned us.
And Putin already had the option that they would be on planes here in Kyiv. They were already planning to land in Boryspil, in Zhulyany, in Bila Tserkva - at all the airfields here and drop off their landing forces. It would be complete chaos in Ukraine, chaos everywhere,” Gordiychuk said.
