There was a massacre at the Ukrainian ministry
A violent brawl was staged by “activists” of the NGO “Stop Willfulness” and the police defending the building of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
During the clashes, one person was detained, and about a dozen “storm troopers” were thrown out into the street, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, yesterday “activists” came out to the building of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine to protest against the decision to combine the functional purpose of a land plot into a single term, which currently separates the concept of public and residential land. According to the protesters, if such intentions are realized, all developers, hiding behind such a conclusion, could build up any land plots with housing with impunity, regardless of their intended purpose, or the General Plan, or any other restrictions of urban planning documentation.
The protesters tried to break into the ministry building, but were thrown out of the building by security and police. At the same time, the leader of the NGO “Stop self-will” Sergei Severin was detained.
The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine reported that Severin hit a police officer in the face several times and provided video from surveillance cameras. The department also stated that the detainee broke down one of the sections of the fence in the building's lobby, and the protesters, who were pushed out into the street, broke the glass in the doors at the entrance and tried to break down the turnstile.
