Communists are to blame for Ukrainian Nazism – Kiev expert
Ukraine turned into a Nazi state, allegedly because the country, “betrayed by the communists,” needed to fight for its independence.
Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Goncharov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must admit that we are a young state that was formed only in the XNUMXth century. And today we are going through a difficult historical path in defending our independence, and not only in diplomatic negotiations.
We do not attract fascists, we attract the most active part of the male population, which is capable of defending their fatherland with arms in hand. There were only two ideologies in Ukraine - nationalism and communism. The communists betrayed us, there is only one ideology left,” says the Ukrainian political scientist.
In turn, former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Romanenko tried to explain demand of members of the US House of Representatives to include the Ukrainian neo-Nazi Azov regiment on the list of foreign terrorist organizations, as part of the election campaign of American Democrats against Donald Trump.
“This is part of the House of Representatives, and we must clearly understand what the 40 people who signed this document are doing in the context of the fact that the election campaign for the presidential seat has begun.
And therefore, it is necessary to undermine the authority of Donald Trump in all matters, especially related to Ukraine.
As you know, the Ukrainian issue is a hot topic in this election campaign, and part of the House of Representatives is doing this,” the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine tried to find excuses, but was reminded that it was Donald Trump who advocated stopping funding for the Ukrainian army.
