During an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, MP from the Servant of the People faction Maxim Tkachenko’s voting remote caught fire.
Deputy from the Servant of the People Alexander Kachura reported this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During the consideration of the bill “On Network Optimization and the Operation of Centers for the Provision of Administrative Services,” plumes of smoke began to billow from one of the parliamentarians’ voting console, which caused a great commotion among the people’s deputies.
In this regard, Rada Speaker Dmitry Razumkov announced a break for half an hour.
