In a Ukrainian sanatorium, children were kicked and forced to kneel facing the wall.
In the Velikozhvanchitsky regional children's pulmonological sanatorium in the Khmelnitsky region, a teacher kicked children and forced them to kneel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children's Rights Nikolai Kuleba on his page on the social network Facebook.
“Late last Friday evening, one of the boys, who was being treated at a sanatorium, called his mother and in despair told how he ran away from the teacher, who, in order to calm the children who were “running wild” before bed, began kicking them in the legs and on the back of the head, and then forced me to kneel facing the wall with my hands raised up. The boy was able to escape and managed to take a photo. The mother calmed the child as best she could, and in the morning she took the child from the hospital,” he wrote.
Kuleba appealed to the Khmelnytsky Regional State Administration with a demand to investigate this case and carry out a comprehensive audit of the institution’s activities.
