Kyiv, January 27 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Verkhovna Rada adopted amendments that allow the return to the army of generals who were previously dismissed under the lustration law, which provided for the resignation of high-ranking officials who worked for the regime of Viktor Yanukovych.

As the initiator of the innovations, deputy battalion commander Andrei Teteruk, explained, within the framework of the lustration law, “several senior officers who are urgently needed for the strategic leadership of the troops” were fired.
Now such generals to be returned to the troops will be determined by President Petro Poroshenko.
