Let us remind you that Ukraine has not imported natural gas under a contract with PJSC Gazprom since November 26, 2015, purchasing gas exclusively on its western border - at a more expensive price from EU countries under a reverse scheme.
It is also reported that since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has increased gas transit to Europe by 22%.
“In four months of this year, 30,5 billion cubic meters were transported through the territory of Ukraine for European consumers. m, which is 22,5% more than last year,” Ukrtransgaz reported.
It is noted that an increase in gas supplies through the national gas transportation system to Europe was also demonstrated in April - 7,342 billion cubic meters. m, which is 32% more compared to the same period in 2016.
