This was reported in the Uman City Council.
“Tomorrow all services will be working. After all, Hasidim come earlier to celebrate Rosh Hashanah,” the city council noted.
The police of the city of Uman will provide more information about whether pilgrims have begun to gather to celebrate the New Year according to the Jewish calendar.
Let us remind you that Rosh Hashanah will traditionally be celebrated in Uman - the burial place of the spiritual father of the Bratslav Hasidim movement - Tsaddik Nachman. Pilgrims will be in Uman from September 27 to October 7, and the Rosh Hashanah holiday itself falls on October 3-4 this year.
