In Uzhgorod, on the occasion of National Guard Day, citizens were fed porridge in the square
The third anniversary of the creation of the National Guard of Ukraine was celebrated in Uzhgorod.

“The event participants remembered those colleagues who celebrate their professional holiday on the front line, and honored the memory of the military personnel who gave their lives defending Ukraine. For conscientious performance of official duties and high performance in service and combat activities, the National Guardsmen received certificates of honor for awards. Those present were given a tour and shown how military personnel are trained, how a field kitchen works, and were invited to try soldiers’ food,” the message says.
Today, such events took place in Zaporozhye, Odessa, Kherson and a number of other Ukrainian cities.
“The events in Zaporozhye started at 10:00 on Festivalnaya Square, where military units of the National Guard of Ukraine marched in a solemn march. The event was attended by the leadership of the city and region. Afterwards, demonstration performances by military bands took place, an exhibition of military equipment and a festive concert were presented. Everyone was also treated to soldier’s porridge,” the message says.
