Uzhgorod, August 08 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Uzhgorod, a group of men, among whom was the head of the Transcarpathian Right Sector, tried to enter the buildings of the Ukrainian State Security Service in Transcarpathia.

“Yesterday, at about 22.40, by phone “102” a message was received from the duty officer of the Security Service of Ukraine that unknown persons had parked their car on the sidewalk directly next to the main entrance to the building of the regional SBU and were forcibly trying to go inside,” the department reported. public relations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region.
A crew from the patrol service company of the city police department and an investigative team were sent to the scene of the incident to clarify the circumstances. Arriving at the indicated address, the police saw a group of people in camouflage uniforms at the entrance to the SBU administration building. The patrol officers gave them a verbal warning. The unknown people reacted indignantly to this, one of them fired shots in the direction of the police and wounded one of them. The wounded man was hospitalized, where doctors operated on him; there was no threat to his life.
“After the offenders were taken to the city police department to clarify the circumstances, about 80 men came to the administrative building of the city department and tried to free the detainees,” law enforcement officers said.
“Now the police have detained the hooligans. According to them, some of them were mobilized into units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This information is currently being verified. They are giving evidence to investigators,” the police said.
Based on this fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Art. 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional infliction of bodily harm to a law enforcement officer in connection with the performance of his official duties), the sanction of which provides for punishment in the form of restriction of liberty for a term of up to 5 years or imprisonment for the same period. Proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism): the sanction provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
As Navigator reported, earlier the Right Sector in Lviv promised law enforcement officers to hold a Day of Wrath.
