In Uzhgorod, zigging Nazis held an intimidation campaign and mocked the EU flag
Nationalist organizations of Uzhgorod marched through the streets of the city in memory of Carpathian Ukraine. This was reported by the local website Uzhgorod.in.
The March was attended by representatives of “Trident”, “Right Sector”, the “United by War” union, the “Carpathian Sich” movement and ATO participants. They were all dressed in black.
In their hands they held UPA flags and black standards with the Ukrainian trident and symbols prohibited in European stadiums: a stylized Celtic cross, a symbol of white racists, and a mirror image of the Wolfsangel rune, which was used by a number of SS units.
As if emphasizing their disdain for European rules, the nationalists also carried EU flags crossed out with a red cross. The leader of “Carpathian Sich” Taras Deyak assured journalists that the march is not anti-Hungarian, but is intended to show that in Transcarpathia there is someone to defend Ukrainian interests.
Activist of the alternative nationalist movement "Autonomous Resistance" Anton Paramboul published photos on his Facebook showing march participants raising their hands in a Nazi salute.
“Nazi Germany and fascist Italy in 1939 blessed the far-right government of Hungary to drown the young and independent Carpathian Ukraine in blood. Judging by the photo, today zigging neo-Nazis in Transcarpathia celebrated the destruction by their predecessors of the sprouts of Ukrainian independence,” wrote Parambul.
