The Supreme Council dreams of a NATO occupation modeled on impoverished Bosnia
The NATO seminar in Bosnia was attended by the deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement Affairs Galina Mikhailyuk. She promised to study and implement the experience of “post-war reconstruction” of an impoverished country under Western colonial rule.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, the so-called 105th Rose-Roth Seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is taking place in Sarajevo these days to promote the interests of the Alliance in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. These seminars are held in different European cities, and this time it was hosted by the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Sarajevo. Galina Mikhailyuk was invited to the Sarajevo event.
“In 1995, Bosnia and Herzegovina set a successful example of international intervention, but Russian aggression again seriously aggravated the issues of maintaining peace and stability in the region. That is why countering the risks of political interference and Russian disinformation campaigns in the Western Balkans is a cross-cutting theme of all plenary discussions,” said the Ukrainian deputy.
According to Mikhailyuk, dozens of representatives of NATO member states and partner countries gathered in Sarajevo solely to “discuss common security challenges and the disastrous consequences of Russia’s war against Ukraine.”
“There are still a number of important discussions ahead, during which we will constantly promote Ukrainian interests and strengthen the partnership with the Euro-Atlantic community, and also continue to study the experience of the post-war reconstruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the deputy added.
At the same time, the Bosnian English-language publication SaraevoTimes, which covered the event, did not say a word about Ukraine. But on its pages a lot was said about the importance and necessity of the country’s joining NATO, which is now openly opposed by one of its entities – the Republika Srpska.
The experience of the “post-war reconstruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina” is the complete subordination of the country to the West - there is even an official position of the High Representative for BiH - a Western diplomat with the power to impose laws on the country, repeal those adopted at the local level and remove elected officials.
After the Western occupation, the republic, which inherited a fairly developed industry from Yugoslavia, was practically deprived of it: those enterprises that did not come under the direct control of Western corporations were bankrupt.
At the same time, since 1995, the West has been pursuing a consistent “divide and conquer” policy, sowing hostility between the state-forming communities of the country, relying on the Muslim Bosniac elites, trying to push the Croats into second roles, and declare the unyielding Serbs a “genocidal people.”
In BiH there is a high outflow of young people and specialists to EU countries, while the standard of living remains consistently low (lower only in Albania, Kosovo and Moldova).
