Kyiv, March 25 (Vladimir Raichenko) – The Verkhovna Rada proposes to liquidate the parties whose representatives voted in the Crimean Supreme Council in support of the separation of the autonomy from Ukraine.

“I appealed to the relevant authorities with a demand to ban parties that conduct separatist activities on the territory of Ukraine. The Russian bloc also belongs to these parties,” Igor Miroshnichenko from the Svoboda VO is convinced. At the same time, he added that the preventive measures proposed by Svoboda are not always met with understanding by their coalition allies.
Mikhail Golovko, a colleague of Igor Miroshnichenko in the faction, told Navigator that Svoboda is currently negotiating with coalition partners to include bills banning the Communist Party of Ukraine and the Party of Regions in the agenda of the session.
But People's Deputy Shock Member Sergei Kaplin proposes not just banning parties, but also adopting a law that would increase criminal liability for separatist actions. “And based on the new law, we will throw people behind bars,” hopes the UDAR representative.
