People's Deputy from the Servant of the People Anna Skorokhod accused the authorities of detaining her husband Alexei Alyakin because of her vote against the land market, contrary to the position of the faction. the faction chairman accuses her of offering bribes.

“Today, for my political sympathies, political visions and for the fact that I did not vote as the faction told me, on behalf of one of the deputies of the Presidential Administration to one of the deputies of the Prosecutor General Kasko to the deputy of the criminal investigation department Klimenko, my husband was illegally detained. The reason was my voting in the hall, defending state property and gas transportation systems, as well as the red button against the opening of the land market.

The decision to detain is illegal. The reason was the request of the Russian Federation in 2017, before that there were no questions, but here, after the “red button,” the detention of my husband,” said the deputy.

“I personally appeal to the president, the State Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement agencies with a request to stop the arbitrariness that you are doing. When my team and I went and defended the president, no one thought that later they would break us over the knee and act using the methods that are now used. I ask Zelensky to instruct law enforcement agencies to stop the arbitrariness and pressure on me and my family,” Skorokhod added, drawing applause that turned into a standing ovation, especially from the European Solidarity deputies, who openly did not hide their gloating.

The head of the faction, David Arakhamia, came out with a counter-speech.

“Let's call a spade a spade. If you now “Google” Mrs. Skorokhod’s husband, you will understand everything. We as a political party have nothing to do with this. We ourselves have nothing to say now, because we don’t know what’s going on.

But the fact that Mrs. Skorokhod repeatedly turned to people’s deputies and offered them financial and material assistance is a fact,” Arakhamia said.

At the same time, representatives of opposition factions spoke out in defense of Skorokhod, not missing out on the opportunity for such PR.

“Yesterday, on this podium, when one of these emotional “servants” spoke, all that was missing was an armored car with Lenin, and here Yezhov, Stalin, Beria were mentioned in vain, but in fact, today the “servants” themselves are saying that the era of Yezhov has returned . We, as the opposition, have been feeling this for a long time, because there is no person in the opposition who would not be drawn to the GBR and in other “eras”. But today the “servant” speaks about the pressure on the family. We propose to create a commission on the issue of pressure on the deputy and her family, otherwise, friends, this will go very far,” said the representative of European Solidarity, Irina Gerashchenko.

“Probably I, like no one else, can speak generally about the essence of political repression. I know that my family went through this with all the presidents that you can remember, only because we took an honest position without double standards,” said the head of Batkivshchyna, Yulia Tymoshenko.

“I want to address the team of the Servant of the People party. This is great courage to forgive people for their honest position, and if now you – “servants of the people” – do not come to the defense of one pregnant woman and her family when her husband was arrested because she voted against the land market yesterday. I think that if you don’t protect, it’s unlikely that anyone will. I also want to draw the attention of women, because today we do not have the right to replace democracy with political repression again,” Tymoshenko added.

“What we saw a few minutes ago was very impressive. “Servant of the People”, there are complaints - please, but why should the husband answer? This issue has already been resolved since 2017, I will never believe it is a coincidence that yesterday she voted, and today her husband is arrested!” – representative of “OPZZH” Nestor Shufrich was indignant.
