Bereza stood up for the ATO soldiers, who were beaten on May 9 in Dnepropetrovsk while trying to disrupt a procession in honor of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
Bereza named the organizer of the beating of deputy Alexander Vilkul (Opposition Bloc), whom he demanded to be deprived of immunity for “mass riots in the city on the Dnieper,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we don’t do this now, participants in the liberation movements, veterans of the Third World War or the First Modern Patriotic War, will come out and make their judgment. Let’s translate all this into a legal framework and make the right decision,” Bereza threatened.
