The Verkhovna Rada denies the recruitment of Crimeans: “There is no better option than a unitary Ukraine”
Information from Russian media about the emergence of Ukrainian recruitment points on the border with Crimea is fake. However, patriots of Ukraine who remained on the peninsula should not despair - a return to Kyiv’s control will inevitably come, and the peninsula will be deprived of its autonomy status, since the country will be unitary.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Kaplin told Ukrainian journalists about this.

“This is Kremlin propaganda. I think this is being done in order to find reasons to strengthen the Russian group in Crimea,” he said, answering the question of whether Kyiv is really trying to recruit Crimeans.
Nevertheless, Kaplin believes that for the supporters of Ukraine remaining in Crimea, all is not lost - we just need to wait for “changes in the European part of Russia.”
“When the time comes, he will return. We need to wait until such changes occur in the European part of the country that can mobilize the population of Crimea for these actions. They lured people to Russia by deception. They said that there would be pensions, salaries, work and care. Crimeans must understand that there is no better option than a unitary, united Ukraine,” said the Verkhovna Rada deputy.
