The Verkhovna Rada called on the United States to strike Russia, following the example of Syria
The Verkhovna Rada at its meeting on Friday welcomed the US missile attack on Syria with applause, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This happened during a speech from the podium by deputy Dmitry Linko, a member of Oleg Lyashko’s party faction.
He called the strike on Syria an example of how the conflict between Kyiv and Moscow should be resolved.

“The agreements will not be implemented until we kick the Russian Federation and the Russian occupiers in the teeth. Just as today’s example did in Syria, when in response to the chemical attacks of the tyrant Assad and his friend Putin, the United States launched a missile strike.
The same should have been done three years ago, when Donbass and Crimea were taken from Ukraine, when part of Georgia was occupied. Only such a response and such a reaction of the international community, the entire civilized world against terrorists can stop their aggression.
The world today must adopt a military doctrine against terrorists, provided that the main sponsor of terrorism in the world, in fact, is not Islamic terrorist organizations, but the Russian Federation. The whole world should understand this,” said Linko.
The deputies present in the hall supported his words with applause.
