The Verkhovna Rada demands the resignation of the heads of the SBU and the police in Donbass
Kyiv, April 08 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The heads of the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Donetsk, Kharkov and Lugansk should be immediately dismissed for inaction, which contributed to the success of pro-Russian activists.
Deputy Oles Doniy stated this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.

“Law enforcement officers are de facto helping the separatists. They hold so-called sovereignty. Everything was known in advance. Why weren't additional units sent? ...Kharkov residents asked me - were we really surrendered, like Crimea?! The Kharkov police were engaged in sabotage and inactivity,” he said.
“What did the SBU and its leadership do if in Lugansk they voluntarily gave up weapons to the separatists. How can you give 300 machine guns to the attackers? What did the SBU do, how could it give weapons to the separatists? I do not understand this! Does the leadership of the SBU understand, does the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs understand that it was necessary to transfer reliable units to Lugansk, Kharkov and Donetsk in advance?” – Doniy added.
He called for an immediate “change in the leadership of the SBU and the police” in Donbass.
