All toys are marked with the manufacturer’s mark “Zvezda” and the Russian flag. Their prices range from 8 euros 70 cents to 11 euros. On the packaging there is a photograph of Russian soldiers with a red cat.
A Facebook user named Vidma Alutis posted a photo of the game on his profile and wrote: “Well, this will be a test for all the daredevils who hunt for quilted jackets on Facebook! These are the models sold in a Russian book store next to the train station (near the bank) in Vilnius. How many of you will dare to go and demand that they not be traded?” he asks.
The head of the parliamentary committee on national defense and security Vytautas Bakas, having heard from Delfi about what toys they sell in a bookstore, reacted with the words “Oh God!”
He claims that there may be two versions of why these toys are being sold. “Either they don’t understand what this means, which is quite likely, or they understand, they know what they are doing. I would like to hope that they, most likely, did not delve too deeply into what they are selling, what it symbolizes and what it means for children,” the politician said.
