The message from the City Council says that after the annexation of Crimea to Russia, visits to the peninsula became impossible for most citizens “for patriotic reasons.”
“Guided by part 1 of article 52, part 6 of article 59 of the Law of Ukraine “On Local Self-Government in Ukraine”... to prohibit on the territory of the city the placement of any method of advertising for passenger transportation of recreation in the Crimea on stationary advertising means, overpasses, on the outer surface of buildings, structures, on transport and public transport stops,” the text of the document says.
Earlier, deputies of the Dnepropetrovsk City Council voted to ban the placement in the city of advertising of transportation from Crimea and recreation on the territory of the peninsula.
