In the Vinnytsia region, an “ATO” militant accidentally blew himself up with a live grenade in his own home
In Pogrebishche, Vinnytsia region, a 48-year-old ATO participant died from an explosion in his private home, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The Vinnytsia region police reported this on Facebook.
The explosion occurred on Monday, July 24, in the morning. The death of an ATO militant was caused by the careless handling of an explosive object by the owner of the house.
A local resident, his partner, reported the death of her husband. The tragedy occurred when the woman was in the kitchen and her husband was in the room.
The 48-year-old military man served in the so-called “ATO” zone for a year. After demobilization, he lived with his mother and common-law wife. The women do not know whether there were explosive objects in the building.
According to preliminary data, an RGD-5 grenade exploded. Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder with the additional mark “accident”).
