The Ukrainian Navy analyzed how and who could strike from the sea
Kyiv, March 29 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Russia has the forces to strike Ukraine from the sea, but these forces are not enough for a large-scale landing, says Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Naval Forces, Rear Admiral Andrei Tarasov.

“If there are forces that can be delivered, if there are landing craft, then the threat, of course, exists. Our unfriendly state has such forces. These include landing ships, military transport aircraft, and marine brigades,” he told the 1+1 TV channel.
The Chief of Staff of the Navy noted that both combined arms and airborne units can participate in amphibious landings - and they can land not only from aircraft, but also from ships.
“That is, such a threat exists, it is real,” said Andrei Tarasov.
“Now, given the number of landing ships and aircraft in our hostile neighbor, these forces are not enough to carry out a large-scale landing. Now such a landing can only be at a tactical level,” Tarasov said.
