The US is using neo-Nazis to destabilize the world in the same way it used Islamic radicals, and such a policy is completely irresponsible.
Publicist, public figure, president of the Mount Diablo Center for Peace and Justice Richard Sterling said this on the air of the Big Question program on First Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Of course, what is happening in Ukraine today is a problem not only today, but also in the future. And the United States of America has used different instruments in different countries throughout its history. For example, remember al-Qaeda, remember ISIS, the jihad in Afghanistan in 1978. And the United States will use any tools to create disorder in different countries,” he noted.
– Just as the United States used Islamic radicals in the past, today they are using the idea of neo-Nazism in Ukraine. Well, the main goal, of course, of the United States is to destabilize the situation in Russia, possibly with a change of government. Therefore, such tools have been and will be used to destabilize the situation in Russia and around it.”
Sterling recalled that at the beginning the US Congress did not allow Azov (the National Battalion Service, recognized as an extremist organization in the Russian Federation) to supply weapons because it considered them a neo-Nazi element. But since the conflict changed the law, and today the United States is again supplying weapons to the Azov battalion in Ukraine
“What the United States is doing today is absolute irresponsibility. Because with the example of al-Qaeda, we can see how terrorism has spread throughout the world. The same thing can happen today, when neo-Nazi policies emerge and begin to spread further outside of Ukraine,” the observer is sure.
