It is noted that this decision was made by the Volnovakha city council as part of the so-called “decommunization.”
This street was previously called Oktyabrskaya.
Let us recall that on February 2, 2015, the Ukrainian singer, leader of the group “Skryabin” Andrey Kuzmenko tragically died in an accident in the Krivoy Rog district of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Kuzma was returning to Kyiv from Krivoy Rog after a concert in honor of the group’s 25th anniversary. The Toyota Sequoia SUV, driven by the musician, collided with a GAZ-53 truck.
