On Sunday, almost 335 thousand Crimeans were left without electricity
Simferopol, December 28 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – On Sunday, the wind cut off power to 29 settlements in Crimea; due to the introduction of temporary shutdown schedules by Krymenergo, 320 thousand Crimeans and Sevastopol residents were left without power supply.

According to her data, from 08.00 due to strong gusty winds, massive emergency outages occur in the 6-10 kV electrical networks of Krymenergo.
“As of 10:00, household consumers in 29 settlements of Simferopol, Dzhankoy, Oktyabrsky, Kerch, Leninsky, Kirov, Sovetsky, Evpatoriya, Saki, Razdolnensky, Pervomaisky, Chernomorsky districts, numbering 14 people, were left without power supply, the total capacity of disconnected consumers is 500 MW.
Emergency recovery work is underway, 17 teams consisting of 42 people and 19 units of special equipment have been involved,” the message says.
The situation has been taken under special control by the Ministry of Energy.
In addition, the ministry reports, in order to reduce the flow through the electrical connection of the Unified Energy System of Ukraine with the Crimean energy system to 400 MW, the Krymenergo dispatcher introduced temporary shutdown schedules (GVO) of consumption in the amount of 145 MW.
As of 12.00, the population (about 320 people) remained without power supply - 500 MW: in the Republic of Crimea - (about 155 people) 232 MW; in Sevastopol - (about 500 people) 110 MW.
GVOs do not apply to areas where there are massive power outages.
Power supply to socially significant and particularly important facilities is carried out from backup power sources.
