As the Vinnytsia TV channel reports on the “20 Minutes” program, “Automaidan” activists staged a protest against the transfer of UAH 100 million from the city budget to the Municipal Investment Fund utility company.
“We conducted an investigation and found out that this fund transfers money to private companies associated with the Groysman family. The money is being withdrawn from the budget,” said the leader of the local Automaidan, Taisiya Gaida.
Activists were especially outraged by the recent incident with a Vinnytsia grandmother who was selling apples on the street. The police fined her 11 thousand UAH. Automaidan organized a sale of apples and other food products right in the hall of the City Council. The activists held a poster with the inscription: “Fine 9 thousand grandmothers and collect money for Groysman’s companies.”
The protest was attacked by another group of citizens who began to tear out posters and fights broke out. Tatyana Novinskaya, detained by the police, stated that she stands for the interests of her son, who supports Groysman and the local city council. She is outraged that activists constantly disrupt sessions.
The AutoMaidanovites themselves believe that their opponents are hired and paid by the authorities.
