In Poroshenko’s estate, mourning was held for the militant and ex-volunteer who died in Donbass
In Vinnitsa today, mourning was held on the occasion of farewell to the 53-year-old militant of the 59th separate mechanized brigade Valentin Belinsky, who died during the so-called “JFO”. Before serving in the army, he was a well-known volunteer, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Volunteer Vasily Nechiporuk (nicknamed Dushman) reported this on social networks.
“Today we say goodbye to Valentin Belinsky. He died of acute heart failure while serving in the JFO. His brothers-in-arms came to see him off on his last journey, and many people from Vinnitsa also came. Because he was known and respected as a person, a volunteer, who, even before serving in 2014-2017, went to the front line hundreds of times - he carried everything the guys needed,” Nechiporuk said.
According to him, Valentin Belinsky served as a contract driver-medic in the 59th separate mechanized brigade. He died on September 10. He is survived by his wife and minor daughter.
“Twin brothers” militants said goodbye to Valentin Belinsky in Vinnitsa at the local “Heavenly Hundred” square. He will be buried in the “Alley of Heroes” of the central city cemetery.
A day of mourning has been declared in Vinnitsa on Wednesday. “The flags of Ukraine with mourning ribbons on houses and local government institutions, buildings of public utility enterprises, institutions and organizations are flown at half-mast throughout the city. During the farewell ceremony and burial, concerts, entertainment events and sports competitions were restricted in the city,” reports the city council’s press service.
