Hunger riots began in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The additional food rations that were not received by the military personnel caused unrest in one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone.
This information was announced today during a briefing by official representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In his opinion, it was the lack of additional food rations that caused the unrest in the 79th Air Assault Brigade, which occupied the territory near Mariupol.
“We received information that on November 13, personnel of the 3rd Airborne Assault Battalion, free from duty, arrived at the battalion headquarters, where they demanded that the commander and his deputy for the rear report on the distribution of food products received over the past 10 days at food warehouses OTG. The command was unable to calm the rebels, who promised to deal with the culprits. Currently, representatives of the SBU and the military prosecutor’s office have arrived at the brigade to conduct an investigation into the theft of food and the causes of the “Holodomor” in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Eduard Basurin.
