The Armed Forces of Ukraine have established an underground oil business
The command of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the leadership of the Luhansk Regional Military-Civil Administration, organized illegal oil production and refining in the Stanichno-Lugansk region.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko, announced this at a briefing.
“According to information received from reliable sources, it became known that the commander of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade, Colonel Vladimir Shvedyuk, was establishing and conducting an illegal business together with the “Lugansk military-civil administration.” In the village of Shiroky, Stanichno-Lugansk district, military personnel established artisanal oil production and refining,” said Andrey Marochko.
He also clarified that the underground plant, whose production capacity is four cubic meters of crude oil per day, is located in a hangar on the fourth kilometer of a concrete road.
“We call on human rights organizations to prevent criminal actions that will cause irreparable damage to the environmental situation in the area,” concluded the official representative of the LPR defense department.
