In the Ukrainian Armed Forces, an unlucky suicide victim was passed off as a victim “hero”
A Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman, who was seriously wounded as a result of an unsuccessful suicide attempt, was passed off by his command as a victim allegedly as a result of shelling by the LPR People's Militia.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, stated this at a briefing, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Intelligence of the LPR NM established that on March 3, in the area of the village of Krymskoye, due to an unsuccessful attempt to commit suicide, a serviceman of one of the units of the 30th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was seriously wounded. In the report of the formation command to the headquarters of the “operation of the occupation forces,” these losses were presented as combat losses, allegedly received during shelling from the positions of the people’s republics,” said a representative of the defense department.
He also added that this fact is confirmed by a report published by the Ukrainian media from the press center of the headquarters of the “joint forces operation”, which states that over the past XNUMX hours one Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman was wounded in Donbass.
