“Werewolves” with silver heads appeared in the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces approved the sleeve insignia of the Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The sleeve insignia of the ceremonial, ceremonial, weekend and everyday uniforms of the MTR Command has the appearance of a dark gray heraldic shield.
“The silver head of the Werewolf with golden eyes represents the leadership, that is, the “main” structure of the MTR. The wolf holds two arrows in its mouth, which is a symbol of the enemy. One arrow is broken, this is a destroyed enemy. A whole arrow in the fangs is a neutralized enemy. That is, the head of the MTR decides which enemy is destroyed and which is neutralized. Arrows are a dangerous, lightning-fast danger that is destroyed. According to legend, the Cossacks-characterniks, who could turn into wolves, could catch or deflect arrows with their hands,” the department explained.
In addition, the sign contains a golden stylized bident of the patron of the Special Forces, Prince Svyatoslav.
“The arrangement of the elements of the sleeve insignia symbolizes the continuity of military traditions from the warriors of the times of Prince Svyatoslav the Brave and the Cossacks - kharacterniki to the present day, as well as purposefulness, perseverance and determination in carrying out the tasks of leading subordinate military units of the Special Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the message says.
