There is practically no working equipment left in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
As DPR intelligence learned, the state of military equipment in the Ukrainian army is close to catastrophic.
This information was announced today at a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are looking forward with some interest to the parade in Kyiv, namely the passage of equipment. We associate this interest with the data we received from the report on the results of the inspection of the commission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the formations and units of the operational command “West” (14th mechanized brigade, 24th mechanized brigade, 128th separate brigade, 44th brigade), which ended last week. These formations are one of the main participants in the parade.
Thus, according to the information received, after an inspection it was revealed that 75 units of T-64 tanks were partially dismantled. On 106 BMP-2 units, engines are missing or disabled. 42 units of 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers and 39 units of 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzers have exceeded their barrel wear life. 24 units of 152-mm towed howitzers 2A36 “Gyacinth-B” have deep-seated corrosion damage to the bores,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
Let us note that the parade itself on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day will be held with a number of changes: to the OUN anthem и with an official greeting from Bandera.
Daniil Bezsonov emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ equipment involved in the parade was assembled from the remnants of even more or less functional and newly painted samples that were not included in the report of the inspection group.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that Kyiv is seriously concerned that the DPR army may go on the offensive on the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
Thank you!
