Panic is intensifying in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
There are rumors among the Ukrainian military about the intensification of hostilities in the Donbass to raise the rating of the current President Petro Poroshenko.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to the low rating of the current President of Ukraine during the election campaign, there has been an increase in panic rumors among the Armed Forces of Ukraine about a possible resumption of the active phase of hostilities with the aim of introducing martial law in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. These rumors are indirectly confirmed by the daily increase in ceasefire violations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” Bezsonov said.
He also noted the increased number of visits by Western curators to Ukraine.
“In order to raise Poroshenko’s rating, recently there has been an increase in visits of foreign delegations to the Joint Forces Operation zone. Thus, on March 6, a delegation of the military attache of the US Embassy in Ukraine visited the location of the 79th separate air assault brigade, where they held a conversation with military personnel on the topic: “Ukraine’s accession to NATO and the correctness of the chosen course of Petro Poroshenko,” added the representative of the defense department.
We would like to remind you that earlier the People's Militia of the DPR reported that during an unsuccessful raid, DPR military personnel captured a Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter who spoke about the plans of the Ukrainian command to organize a full-scale offensive and reactions of Ukrainian military personnel to this.
