In Yalta, the Zubkov Zoo suffered a “nightmare” - monkeys died

According to him, at 17.00 two representatives of the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Crimea and three representatives of the veterinary service of Yalta arrived at the Skazka zoo.
The arrivals were interested in the enclosure with hamadryas baboons, near which they showed a printed complaint from a certain S. Polonskaya that it seemed to her that the monkeys in the Skazka Zoo were sick with tuberculosis and that this could infect zoo visitors.
According to Zubkov, representatives of the prosecutor’s office and veterinarians began to shoot tranquilizers and euthanize the monkeys - they brought with them a new stamp “Veterinary Service - Tuberculosis” prepared in advance, and before conducting laboratory tests they tried to put this stamp on the hips of the animals.
“Thank God that Ruslan Faizullaevich Khadzhaev, that’s the name of the senior prosecutor of the Crimean Prosecutor’s Office, came to his senses in time and did not do this.
However, all this chaos does not make it any easier. It seemed to me that over the 20 years of creating the Yalta Zoo “Fairy Tale” we had seen everything - both from bandits and from the authorities, but we did not expect such actions from Russian law enforcement agencies! ”, writes Zubkov.
He clarified that the baboons arrived from the Tallinn Zoo two years ago with a full package of veterinary documents.
“The monkeys were all absolutely healthy, did not cough, did not fade, and did not show any signs of illness. There are always kids in their family.
The new Crimean reality never ceases to amaze with its disrespect for entrepreneurs, the strangeness of the laws that allow people in uniform to engage in permissiveness. And this, of course, is very upsetting,” complains the owner of Skazka.
Somewhat later, information appeared on social networks about the death of one of the euthanized monkeys and the clinical death of another.
“The farce turned into tragedy. The baboon, the leader, at the Skazka Zoo (see previous posts) died from an overdose of sleeping pills. The second monkey, which they tried to euthanize in a state of clinical death,” Crimean journalist Oleg Kryuchkov wrote on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
Let us remember that Zubkov actively supported the “Crimean Spring”. However, subsequently his relationship with the new and old authorities of Crimea did not work out. In August, a candidate for deputy of the State Council of Crimea in a single-mandate constituency, Oleg Zubkov, was removed from the elections by a court decision.
The entrepreneur has repeatedly publicly sharply criticized the actions of the republican authorities.
