Simferopol, April 05 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – In Yalta, two young Crimeans entered the apartment of an 86-year-old war veteran and robbed him using physical force.

According to her, one of the robbers, a 23-year-old resident of Sevastopol, managed to escape with 10 thousand rubles stolen from a veteran; his accomplice, a previously convicted 32-year-old resident of the Dzhankoy district, was caught by the victim’s neighbors.
Arriving police detained the suspect and took her to the police department. Later, the second robber was detained and confessed to his crime.
The police have opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code (robbery); those detained face punishment ranging from forced labor for up to five years to imprisonment for up to seven years.
