In Yalta there is only enough strength to clear out the shalmans
From the beginning of next year, the central part of Yalta will face a massive “cleansing” - the demolition of retail outlets and quickly erected buildings.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, former head of the Interstroy construction company Evgeny Kabanov stated this in an interview with the Crimea 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In June, a project for planning the territory in the central part of the city of Yalta was approved, and “red lines” were established. A large number of objects fell into these “red lines”. These are Kyiv and Moskovskaya streets, there are objects in the “red lines” - stalls, all sorts of awkward structures. The administration of the city of Yalta, on behalf of the Council of Ministers, will begin a massive cleanup of Kyiv and Moskovskaya streets early next year in order to bring Yalta to the proper historical image of the resort city that it was during the Soviet Union. This is a hundred-meter zone, these are beaches, the so-called easily assembled buildings that appear every season like mushrooms. The task is to clean up, first of all, the areas of beaches and parks,” said Kabanov.
The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized that the authorities are currently considering a bill that would simplify the demolition of illegal buildings.
“The Ministry of Construction, together with the Ministry of Property and Land Relations, has developed our republican bill, on behalf of the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, which will simplify the procedure for directly making a decision on demolition. The main thesis of this bill is that if the municipal authorities, by decision of the Council of Ministers, recognize a building as illegally constructed for one reason or another or impossible to operate, then in the shortest possible period, up to a maximum of two months, if this bill is adopted and passed through all federal authorities, we will be able to legally begin the demolition of this or that building,” Kabanov added.
As PolitNavigator reported, before being elected to the parliament of the republic, Kabanov headed the large construction company Interstroy, one of the main developers in Sevastopol.
The intrigue is that it was this company that was involved in the scandal with the development of the Primorsky Park in Yalta. During the time of Ukraine, the green zone began to be built up with elite high-rise buildings, the construction of which continued after the reunification of Crimea with Russia, despite the protests of local residents and promises of officials to stop the destruction of the park.
