“In Yalta, as a sign of protest against the lawlessness of the head of the Yalta administration, Rostenko, 75-year-old Yalta resident Alexander Ivanovich Strekalin committed self-immolation. He dies in the Livadia hospital: 70 percent burns,” Sardyko said.
According to him, Strekalin had documents for the cafe, but he “was not allowed to participate in the new rental competition; They gave space to their own company, “Jaguar”.
“I dissuaded him from this many times, but he said that he wanted to show everyone how an elderly person can stand up for his family and draw attention to injustice... Before this, the media gave only Rostenko’s point of view, now all the media gave the point of view of an offended person.” ,” Sardyko noted.
“The authorities in Yalta are inhumane if they push people to do such things... Rostenko must then voluntarily resign himself! You can’t bring people to this,” states the journalist.
