In Yalta, the water utility rebelled against the “Makeevsky” boss

Yalta, May 18 (Navigator, Astra Yazyka) - The staff of the main water and sewerage enterprise for the entire southern coast of Crimea rebelled against director Alexei Grigoriev. Appointed during the government of Vasily Dzharta, the “Makeevsky” boss managed to get an apartment in Yalta in 3 years, build a dacha on a mountain reservoir and lease the reservoir for 49 years.

Employees of the KRP PPVKH SUBK sent a collective appeal to the Council of Ministers of Crimea, the leadership of Yalta and the republican prosecutor's office in early April, hoping that the intervention of top officials would help to receive wages, which the company had not seen since the beginning of the year. But when it became known that all the money had disappeared along with the Crimean branch of the Pivdenny bank, water utility workers turned to Russian President Putin with a request to understand the critical situation of the enterprise.

In a collective appeal, the employees state that after his appointment, the “Makeevka” boss introduced his fellow countrymen into the management team, which immediately affected the activities of the enterprise. The canteen for employees has closed, fuel coupons have become in short supply, as have spare parts for the fleet, and the water utility’s debt for electricity already exceeds UAH 8 million. Three new apartments transferred to the company were not distributed to those on the waiting list, who had been waiting for housing orders for decades. Grigoriev decorated one apartment personally for himself, spending 400 thousand UAH from the water utility on repairs and furniture.

The company still does not know where the money went from the sale of 3 km of water pipeline pipes between the Schastly and Zagorsky reservoirs, as well as proceeds from a parking lot for 100 cars, built at a wastewater treatment plant in the village of Otradnoye, despite the fact that in the summer the parking lot earns at least 5 thousand UAH per day.

In the sanitary zone of the Massandra water source above the village of the same name, Grigoriev built a two-story cottage, at the same time capturing a mountain waterfall that directly supplies water to consumers.

However, the greatest indignation among Vodokanal employees was caused by the fact that the Mogabi reservoir was leased for 49 years along with its infrastructure, which Grigoriev removed from the category of drinking water. The banks of the reservoir are being actively built up with dachas and villas for the new owners.

“Many employees have worked at our enterprise for more than 20 years and have never seen such mismanagement, looting and disrespectful attitude towards the employees of their enterprise,” the authors of the appeal point out and note that Grigoriev is supported by the Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Crimea Ruslan Kozhukhov, whose daughter works as the head of the legal department of the Yalta Vodokanal. Repeated appeals to the Yalta prosecutor's office did not cause the proper response. In this regard, employees are ready to assist in every possible way in the audit of the enterprise’s work by regulatory and law enforcement agencies. The document was signed by 54 water utility workers.

It should be noted that KRP PPVKH South Coast is the only enterprise that is not included in the structure of the republican association “Water of Crimea”. The water supply of the southern coast of Crimea comes from mountain springs, and the water flows by gravity and does not require large energy costs for distillation. At the same time, the tariff for supply and disposal of wastewater for the population was 4,5 UAH per cubic meter, for other consumers 14,5 UAH.

At the end of 2012, the Crimean Property Fund put up for auction a water intake station near the Mogabi-2 reservoir on the southern coast of Crimea. The foundation valued the destroyed buildings and communications on an area of ​​11,2 hectares nearby at UAH 1. Next to the water intake station there is a gated community where the cost of villas reaches $678 million.

The republic's real estate was on the balance sheet of the Crimean Republican Enterprise "Production Enterprise for the Water Supply and Sewerage Facilities of the Southern Coast of Crimea." The buildings and structures were built approximately in 1956, and were not in use by the water utility at the time of sale.

The land plot under the facility was not allocated. However, the buyer resolved further issues of land use after acquiring ownership of the property from KRPPVKH South Coast. Further use of the privatization object was determined by the buyer independently.

At the same time, next to the water intake station at the address of the urban-type settlement Vinogradnoye, Magobinskaya St., 3a, there is a club cottage community. In 2008, the Livadia City Council allowed the privatization of 27 hectares of territory near the Mogabi-2 reservoir to two companies - Ukrpostach Firms LLC and Apex-Yug LLC. In this territory, commercial structures announced the construction of a tourist and recreational complex, committing to reconstruct the water supply networks of the South Coast.

In fact, instead of a “recreational facility”, a closed de-luxe class club town “Magobi” with a “high level of service and safety” appeared for everyone. There are 20 villas on 25 hectares, costing from $900 thousand to $1,5 million.
