This was stated by the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration (ROSA) Gennady Moskal, Moskal’s press service reported.
“After a corresponding appeal from the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration to the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod, the government of this country decided to allocate eight thousand vaccines to the region as humanitarian aid,” the statement says.
Reportedly, the vaccine will arrive in Transcarpathia on January 26. It should be enough for 2 months. According to the head of the region, the Ministry of Health promised to send 10 thousand measles vaccines to Transcarpathia, but the region has not yet received them.
Let us remind you that, as previously reported, Transcarpathia does not receive the required amount of measles vaccine, which is why the number of measles cases in the region is sharply increasing. However, the Ministry of Health subsequently announced that it was addressing the situation with the lack of measles vaccines in Transcarpathia.
